Aryabhata was a 5th century mathematician and astronomer from India who had some amazing accomplishments. He used Zero before it was even formalized. He accurately predicted the Heavenly body motions, Earth's circumference and Eclipses.
Discovered pi accurately to the 4th decimal. Derived formulas for series and cubes summation. He came up with formulas for area, circumferences, volume and complex objects. Back then mathematicians would just wing it for simple calculations. He also discovered Sine.
