Once there is a famine in the country. There was no rain. No clouds were seen in
the sky. Animals were dying. Crops were drying, too. So, a teacher told his
students, " We'll go to the mosque and pray. We'll pray to God to give
rains."
The whole group was walking towards the mosque. Mulla Nasiruddin met them on the way.
He asked, "Where are taking them?"
The teacher replied, "I'm taking these children to the mosque. God listens to innocent children."
The Mulla said, "God doesn't listen to innocent children."
The teacher asked, "How can you say such a thing?"
The Mulla replied, "I'm right. God doesn't listen to children. Otherwise, there would be no school in the world."
