Yes.
It is the 21st century and we still have some peoples around the world fighting armed conflicts about who's “god” is better, or what the right way to worship them is. Or whatever.
So that is one good reason. Get humanity to mature-up a bit. It's time for Virgonia to learn the truth about Santa Claus.
And reconciliation is part of that answer.
As long as there is a “Chasm of Ignorance” in or Map of Physics… there will continue to be claims of gods and magic and miracles and other silliness… some taken seriously enough that people fight about them.
Yes. Definitely a need.
