MIDWEEK INSPIRATION
One of the best things we can do in
our lives is this:
Begin again.
Begin to see yourself as you
were
When you were the happiest and strongest you've ever been.
Begin
to remember what worked for you
(and what worked against you),
And try to
capture the magic again.
Begin to remember how natural it was when you
were a child --
To live a lifetime each day.
Begin to forget the
baggage you have carried with you
For years:
The problems that don't
matter anymore,
The tears that cried themselves away,
And the worries that
are going to wash away
On the shore of tomorrow's new
beginnings.
Tomorrow tells us it will be here every new day of our
lives;
And if we will be wise,
We will turn away from the problems of the
past
And give the future -- and ourselves -- a chance
To become the best
of friends.
Sometimes all it takes is a wish in the heart to let yourself
..
Begin again.

EXCELLENCE ...1
Excellence
A Path Beyond
Success
Everyone is born with Excellence. People begin their life/ work journey with that excellence.
On the way, they achieve Success, which is measured by others or compared with others. Considering it to be the ultimate, often they stop their quality efforts for attaining Excellence.
In fact, success is only the milestone of Excellence. Journey towards Excellence has to pass through various such milestones.

UNTOLD LAWS...
1) Whenever I find the key to success, someone changes the lock.
2) To Err is human, to forgive is not a COMPANY policy.
3) My road to success is always under construction.
4) Alcohol does not solve any problems, but if you think again, neither
does Milk.
5) It's funny but In order to get a Loan, you first need to prove that you
don't need it.
6) All the desirable things in life are either illegal, expensive or
fattening or married to someone else.
7) Since Light travels faster than Sound, people appear brighter before you
hear them speak.
8) Everyone has a scheme of getting rich Which never works until you
cheat.
9) If at first you don't succeed?. Destroy all evidence that you ever
tried.
10) He who has the gold, makes the golden rules and those who don't have
gold follow them.
11) Once you have bought something, you will find the same item being sold
somewhere else at a cheaper rate.
12) When in a queue, the other line always moves faster and the person in
front of you will always have the most complex of transactions.
13) If you have paper, you don't have a pen! If you have a pen, you don't
have paper! if you have both, no one calls.
14) You will pick up maximum wrong numbers when on roaming.
15) The door bell or your mobile will always ring when you are in the
bathroom.
16) Irrespective of the direction of the wind, the smoke from the cigarette will
always flow towards the non-smoker.
16) Irrespective of the direction of the wind, the smoke from the cigarette
will always flow towards the non-smoker.

STORY WITH MORAL ...9
In old times, there was a village having only one well for drinking water. One day a dog fell down in the well and died. The water became filthy and undrinkable. The worried villagers went to the old wise man for advce. They were told to take 100 buckets of water from the well so that clean water come to the surface of the well. The villagers took 100 buckets but water status was same. They went to the wise man again. He suggested to take another 100 buckets. The villagers did the same but to no avail. They villagers tried third time to take another 100 buckets as per the advice from the wise man but water was still impure. The wise said, How come the whole well is polluted even removing this much considerable amount of water. Did you remove the dog body prior to taking 300 buckets of water? The villagers said, "no sir, you only advised us to take water out, not the dog body !"
Moral -
Several times in life we try to
resolve our problems without considering the root cause of the problems. We
believe that we are resolving the problem whereas in actual we are working on
the side effects of problem not the problem itself. We don't see the big picture
to understand the root of the issue. We take advice from our well wishers but do
not use our brain to think logically to analyze the advice and then decide, instead, we start acting blindly on the
solutions suggested by others.

DEATH OF AN INNOCENT GIRL
I remembered what you
said.
You told me not to drink, Mom,
So I drank soda instead.
I
really felt proud inside, Mom,
The way you said I would.
I didn't drink
and drive, Mom,
Even though the others said I should.
I know I did the
right thing, Mom,
I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally
ending, Mom,
As everyone is driving out of sight.
As I got into my
car, Mom,
I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised
me,
So responsible and sweet.
I started to drive away, Mom,
But as
I pulled out into the road,
The other car didn't see me, Mom,
And hit me
like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom,
I hear the policeman
say,
"The other guy is drunk," Mom,
And now I'm the one who will
pay.
I'm lying here dying, Mom....
I wish you'd get here soon.
How
could this happen to me, Mom?
My life just burst like a balloon.
There
is blood all around me, Mom,
And most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say,
Mom,
I'll die in a short time.
I just wanted to tell you, Mom,
I
swear I didn't drink.
It was the others, Mom.
The others didn't
think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference
is, he drank
And I will die.
Why do people drink, Mom?
It can
ruin your whole life.
I'm feeling sharp pains now.
Pains just like a
knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom,
And I don't think it's
fair.
I'm lying here dying
And all he can do is stare.
Tell my
brother not to cry, Mom.
Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven,
Mom,
Put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have told him,
Mom,
Not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom,
I would
still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom.
I'm becoming
very scared.
Please don't cry for me, Mom.
When I needed you, you were
always there.
I have one last question, Mom.
Before I say good
bye.
I didn't drink and drive,
So why am I the one to
die?
