MEDITATION TIPS

Meditation is a practice that involves training attention and awareness to achieve mental clarity, emotional calmness, and a sense of inner peace. While there are various meditation techniques and approaches, here are some common elements and steps involved in meditation:

1. Find a quiet and comfortable space: Choose a calm and quiet environment where you can sit or lie down comfortably without distractions. You may want to use a meditation cushion or chair for added support.

2. Assume a comfortable posture: Find a posture that allows you to be relaxed and alert. This could be sitting cross-legged on the floor, sitting on a chair with your feet flat on the ground, or even lying down if that helps you stay awake and focused.

3. Focus on your breath: Bring your attention to your breath. Observe the natural flow of your breath as you inhale and exhale. You can focus on the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body or the rising and falling movement of your abdomen or chest.

4. Notice and let go of distractions: As you meditate, thoughts, emotions, and sensations may arise. Acknowledge them without judgment, and then gently let them go, bringing your attention back to your breath. This process helps cultivate awareness and detachment from the continuous stream of thoughts.

5. Maintain a present-moment focus: In meditation, the goal is to anchor your attention in the present moment. You can choose to keep focusing on your breath or shift your attention to other objects of focus, such as a mantra, a visual image, or the sensations in your body.

6. Cultivate non-judgmental awareness: Practice being an impartial observer of your experience without labeling or evaluating it as good or bad. Instead, simply notice the thoughts, emotions, or sensations that arise, and let them pass without getting caught up in them.

7. Be patient and persistent: Meditation is a skill that takes time and practice to develop. It's normal to experience a wandering mind or restlessness in the beginning. Be patient with yourself and commit to regular practice to cultivate a more focused and calm mind.

It's worth noting that there are many different forms of meditation, including mindfulness meditation, loving-kindness meditation, transcendental meditation, and more. Each type may have its own specific techniques and instructions. Exploring different approaches and finding what resonates with you can help you establish a meditation practice that suits your needs and preferences.

WHY HYDROGEN & HELIUM ABUNDANTLY AVAILABLE IN THE UNIVERSE?

They were the first ones to show up. You see, right after the Big Bang, the universe was very hot and dense. So hot and dense that only the simplest atoms could exist: hydrogen and helium. Hydrogen has one proton and one electron, while helium has two protons, two neutrons, and two electrons. Anything more complicated would be torn apart by the intense energy.

For about three minutes, the universe was a giant nuclear reactor, fusing hydrogen into helium and releasing energy. This process is called nucleosynthesis, and it's how stars make their light and heat. But after three minutes, the universe cooled down enough that nucleosynthesis stopped. The result was a universe filled with about 75% hydrogen and 25% helium by mass . The rest of the elements were either too rare or too unstable to matter.

Other elements like carbon, oxygen, iron, gold, etc.., were made later, by stars. Stars are basically giant balls of hydrogen and helium that fuse them into heavier elements in their cores. The more massive the star, the more elements it can make. For example, our Sun can only make carbon and oxygen, while massive stars can make iron and beyond.

But even stars have their limits. When they run out of fuel, they die in spectacular explosions called supernovae. These explosions not only spread the elements they made into space, but also create new ones by smashing atoms together at high speeds. This process is called supernova nucleosynthesis , and it's how we get elements like gold, silver, uranium, etc.

AVOID EATING THESE FOODS BEFORE SLEEPING

Eating a balanced and healthy diet is essential for maintaining good health. However, there are certain foods that you should avoid eating before a meal. Firstly, it's best to avoid greasy or fried foods as they take longer to digest and can cause bloating or discomfort during a meal. Another food to avoid is carbonated drinks as the bubbles can create gas in the stomach, leading to discomfort and bloating. Sugary foods and drinks should also be avoided before a meal as they can cause a rapid rise in blood sugar levels, leading to a crash later on. Lastly, it's best to avoid alcohol as it can impair your judgment and lead to overeating or poor food choices. By avoiding these foods before a meal, you can ensure that you are getting the most out of your food and enjoying your meal without any discomfort or negative effects.

SWATHISTANAM ( SACRAL CHAKRA )

The svadhisthana chakra also called the sacral chakra is the seat of the element water and of taste thus people with empowered svadhisthana have the luster and shine in their skin, hair, eyes, and all other tissue elements.

It is located just about two fingers above the Muladhara chakra, in the lower abdomen below the navel, and covers organs like kidneys, urethra, urinary system, organs of reproduction, prostate gland, etc.

The principal air (Vayu) which activates the svadhisthana chakra is Vyana which is spread over the entire body.

It is in charge of the sexual organs of the body and is located in the pelvic region.

The sacral chakra is associated with nature's activities like creation, maintenance, and destruction.

It is connected with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity.

This forms your deepest connections with sensuality and passion.

The sacral chakra embodies your relationship with every being in this existence.

This includes emotion, pleasure, connection, and intimacy.

It is endowed with the faculty of instant knowledge.

Individuals who are endowed with the capacity of unfailing memory for several things simultaneously have empowered svadhisthana chakra.

Motivated by pleasure and joy, the sacral chakra is the driving force for one's enjoyment in life.

People with activated sacral chakra are pleasure seekers. They seek pleasure through all their five senses.

It enables them to feel and experience life to its fullness.

The Svadhisthana chakra (water) and Manipuraka (fire) chakras are the foundation of Pranamaya kosha, the physiological body. Both have to move together, coordinating their functions during inhalation and exhalation in pranayama.

Improper working of svadhisthana chakra leads to insomnia (all major sleep-related disorders are due to improper working of this chakra) Dryness and lack of luster in the skin, hair, eyes, joints, digestive tract.

It leads to stones, dryness in the vagina, burning sensation during intimacy, painful menstrual cycles, burning sensation during urination, premature ejaculation.

Pimples, itching and skin disorders, loss of taste, tongue disorder.

Relationships with loved ones turn sour, compatibility issues, people around you find you unapproachable and rude.

Lethargy and boredom set in easily, one is unable to experience unconditional joy in their being.

When it is activated, the practitioner becomes free from disease, acquires vibrant health, and oozes youthfulness.

Feeling no fatigue, he/she becomes friendly and compassionate, feels vibrant, and experiences unconditional joy in his/her being.

He/she becomes like the sugar in the milk which mixes easily thus empowering their connection with every piece of life on this existence.

BLACK HOLE DEVOURING A STAR

How long does a black hole take to devour an average star?

On average, it is estimated that it takes a black hole about 10 million to 100 million years to fully consume a star.

This may sound like a long time, but it is actually very fast on a cosmic scale. The process begins when a star wanders too close to a black hole and gets trapped by its gravity. The black hole then starts to tear apart the star with its immense tidal forces, stretching and shredding it into thin streams of gas. Some of this gas escapes into space, while some of it falls into the black hole. As the gas falls into the black hole, it forms a swirling disk around it called an accretion disk. The disk heats up due to friction and magnetic fields, and emits intense radiation that can be detected by telescopes. This radiation also pushes some of the gas away from the black hole, creating powerful jets that shoot out from its poles.

The accretion disk and jets are the main signs of a black hole devouring a star. They can last for months or years, depending on how much gas is available and how fast it falls into the black hole. Eventually, the black hole consumes all of the gas and stops shining. The star is gone forever.

ROASTED GRAMS

Roasted grams (also known as chickpeas) can be good for your health when consumed as part of a balanced diet. Roasted grams are:

  1. Rich in protein: Chickpeas are a good source of plant-based protein, making them an excellent option for vegetarians and vegans.
  2. Fiber-rich: Chickpeas are high in fiber, which helps promote digestive health and prevents constipation.
  3. Low glycemic index: Chickpeas have a low glycemic index, which means they can help regulate blood sugar levels and prevent spikes in insulin levels.
  4. Heart-healthy: Chickpeas are rich in heart-healthy nutrients, such as magnesium and potassium, which can help lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart disease.
  5. Anti-inflammatory: Chickpeas contain antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds, which may help reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as cancer, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease.

It is important to note that eating roasted grams in moderation, as part of a balanced diet, is the key to reaping their health benefits. It's also worth considering the sodium content of roasted grams if you are watching your salt intake.

BRAHMASTRA

In Hindu’s history, Brahmastra is a powerful weapon associated with Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe. It is said to be one of the most potent and destructive weapons ever created. The term "Brahmastra" is derived from two words: "Brahma," referring to Lord Brahma, and "astra," meaning weapon.

According to the ancient texts, the Brahmastra is described as a single projectile weapon with immense destructive capabilities. It is believed to be an energy weapon capable of destroying entire armies and even entire civilizations. The Brahmastra is said to possess the power of nuclear force and is often associated with divine energy.

The exact working mechanism of the Brahmastra is not explicitly described in the ancient texts. However, it is generally depicted as a weapon that is invoked through a specific mantra or incantation. The wielder of the Brahmastra is believed to have the ability to direct and control its power, choosing the target and determining the extent of destruction.

In some versions, the Brahmastra is depicted as a flaming arrow or a projectile that can be launched using a bow. Other accounts describe it as a beam of light or energy unleashed from the hand of the wielder. It is often described as unstoppable and capable of causing mass destruction, with the potential to devastate entire cities or even continents.

The Brahmastra is considered a weapon of last resort and is only supposed to be used in extreme circumstances when all other options have been exhausted. Its usage requires great skill, knowledge, and spiritual power. The texts also emphasize that the Brahmastra should be used responsibly and with righteous intentions, as its misuse can have catastrophic consequences.

It's important to note that the concept of the Brahmastra exists in Hindu’ history and is a real weapon in the physical world. It symbolizes the immense power and potential destruction that can arise from the misuse of technology or supernatural forces.

LEG CRAMPS

Reasons Why Your Legs Cramp Up At Night And How To Fix It

Leg cramps are a very frequent occurrence, particularly at night. If you experience this, it will likely come on suddenly and manifest as rapid spasms or contractions of the muscles in your thighs, feet, and calves.

Leg cramps at night typically occur when you are already asleep or just as you open your eyes in the morning. The worst part of it is that the pain can occasionally be extremely severe and last for several minutes. When it is gone, the muscles will be tense and tight, and touching them or moving quickly will hurt.

However, you should know that leg cramps are very different from the restless leg syndrome. It is true that both of these conditions happen during the night, however, restless leg syndrome makes people feel relaxed when they move the legs. If they move them, then they will cramp and the pain will be stronger.

Nevertheless, scientists have not determined why this happens yet. But, they suspect that certain health conditions might lead to this.

THE CAUSES FOR LEG CRAMPS

  • Being exposed to low temperatures for a long period of time
  • Blood circulation issues
  • Thyroid disease
  • Dehydration
  • Specific pharmaceutical drugs.
  • Kidney disease
  • Injury
  • Physical activity
  • Muscle overload
  • Lack of calcium
  • Pregnancy
  • Lack of Magnesium
  • Lack of Potassium

If you notice that these cramps are not connected with a serious health issue, you can rely on a few different method to help yourself.

HOW TO TREAT THE CRAMPS

1. MAGNESIUM
You can use magnesium in your daily diet if you have been experiencing cramps. You should consume seeds and nuts because they are loaded with this nutrient. Also, consult a doctor if you want supplements.

Moreover, you can take megnesium oil and rub it on the legs before you go to bed. Just boil half a cup of distilled water and then add half a cup of magnesium chloride flakes. When it dissolves, remove it from heat and let it cool. Just store it in a spray bottle and spray five to ten times on each leg before you go to bed.

 2. REMAIN ACTIVE
If you take a walk it might also help with eliminating the muscle cramps due to the fact that this activity is easy and relaxes the muscles in our legs. Make sure you do not stand in one position only for a long time.

3. INCREASE WATER INTAKE
If you were not familiar with it before, dehydration is one of the leading causes of muscle cramps. Naturally, drinking water will not provide instant relief, however, if you drink it sufficiently daily, it will improve your health definitely.

4. BATH BASED ON EPSOM SALT
A lot of therapists, trainers and coaches recommend people to use Epsom salt bath so that they can eliminate the cramping. This special bath delivers a great amount of magneisum to the skin ad the pleasantly warm water will relax the muscles.

5. MASSAGE OR ACUPUNCTURE
Acunpuncture will relax every muscles and fix the cause of the problem. If you are afraid of needles, you can use a massage as well. Just do the massages and your muscles will relax.

6. STRETCHING
FIrst, relax the muscles that are cramping. Thus, do not do any physical activity that may have triggered the cramp. Keep your muscles stretched and rub the area gently.

WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A MUSCLE CRAMP

Finally, we will leave you off with a piece of advice. You can definitely use the methods we have mentioned as prevention. However, if the cramp happens suddenly and you are feeling paralyzed you should follow these tips:

  • Move your leg if you can or walk in the room to improve the blood circulation
  • Rub the muscle for a couple of minutes
  • Use blankets, sheets and clothing to provide good air flow
  • Sit down on the floor and extend the legs as much as you can and flex the feet at the ankles. Make sure you extend the toes as well. Then, use the hands to drag the feet and strtech the muscles gently. That is it!
