It is harder for highly intelligent child because he is unable to find the friends of his caliber. He has to come down to come down to the level of normal children to mingle with them. Highly intelligent child don't find motivation in simple activities. He requires difficult task/challenges to be motivated /get the joy of creation. He is unable to express this point/angle to his parents/teachers.
