If the Universe is supposed to be 13.7 Billion years old, why then has the James Webb telescope discovered a Galaxy that is 32 billion light years away? That means that the light would have traveled for much longer than the age of the universe!
The diameter of the universe is about 93 billion light years.
The light from galaxy GLASS-z12 has traveled 13.6 billion light years to us, while by now the galaxy is 33 billion light years away.
These distances greater than the 13.7 billion year age of the universe are possible because the universe itself is expanding greater than the speed of light.
