OPPORTUNITY.....3

THE WISE MAN WILL MAKE MORE OPPORTUNITY THAN HE FINDS

Opportunity is everywhere but the trouble with most people is that they look far away for opportunities which are right at hand. In looking for the roses, they trample the daisies under their feet. Most opportunities will not be found where they are sought, but rather, they are wrapped up within each of us.

WHY SIT AROUND AND WAIT FOR SOMETHING THAT WE CAN CREATE ?

Once, after Alexandra had won a victory in the field, he was asked if he intended taking the next city if the OPPORTUNITY presented itself. "Opportunity ? Why,? I make opportunities." Alexandra replied.

The seed of success is not in one who sits around and waits for his great chance, who believes that the greener pastures are in the other side of the fence, who hope someday to "luck-up" on the larger opportunities. When they do not stumble upon success as they drift about they are eager to complain that they didn't have a chance

We are all capable of soaring to great heights but most men remain grounded because they do not prepare for the journey. Lincoln did not roll right out of the log cabin into the White House. Through self-help studies, an invincible determination, unremitting labour, and by over-coming every obstacle that lay in his path, he created the opportunities that ultimately brought him to the presidency.

To each his own is the task of preparation, of development, of unfoldment, of success, of happiness and peace of mind. We are the gardener and what we do with the seed opportunity is up to us.
