LESSONS LEARNT FROM SPIDERS

 5 Life lessons from Spiders

Spiders may not appeal to you, but they can certainly teach you a few life lessons. Like them or not, spiders are incredibly powerful and awe-inspiring. Spiders have fascinated me as creatures and the more I think about them, the more I understand some of the life lessons they can offer to us. I list here five key lessons I learnt observing them…spider

  1. Getting started – A spider doesn’t waste time looking for a perfect location to start. It broadly identifies areas where its prey is available and starts spinning the web. Once it gets started, there is no looking back till it completes the web. Many of us keep waiting for the best day, best time, best location and the best business idea and just don’t get started. I’m sure you would have come across successful businesses the ideas for which would have crossed your mind long before someone started. You end up regretting having not started it when it struck your mind. So the lesson for us is to get started…
  2. Perseverance – A spider never gives up spinning. No matter how many times it falls or its web gets broken, it climbs up and starts again. The lesson here is that one must persevere no matter what. There will be hurdles along the way. Your web may be broken by many extraneous reasons but you must believe in your ability to rebuild again and again..
  3. Network – What helps the spider is the width of its web. The wider it spins the web, the higher the chances of trapping its prey. It’s web is the security for daily needs of food. Similarly, it is important that we build our web / network as wide as possible. It provides you the guarantee for future support. Future proof yourself by building the strength of your network. The wider the better.
  4. Trust – If you ever observed the spider in its web, you will find that it remains planted with its eight legs spread wide and ready for the prey to come near. It can stay there for long hours without moving and has complete ‘trust’ in the web it’s spun. Similarly, we must have complete trust in our ability and the work which we do. You must stay the whole course. If you have a firm belief on the journey you embarked on, your success will be dependent on the time you can impart to the path. Many times we tend to just give up nearer to success. Trust in your ability and stay the course.
  5. Patience – There is no other insect you will find in your house which demonstrates ‘patience’ to the extent the spider shows. Once it has spun its web (laid the foundation) it waits patiently to catch its prey. It’s never anxious and doesn’t run helter-skelter like a rat in search of food. Are you patient as the spider?

RULES......1

Some Rules for being human......

1. Your will receive a body. You may like it, or hate it, but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full time informal school called life. Each day in this school you have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think they are irrelevant and stupid.

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error and experimentation. The failed experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately works.

4. A lesson is repeated until learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can go to the next lesson. Periodically, the lesson will be re- presented to see if you still remember it.

5. Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain its lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learnt. If no lessons is being presented, it is likely that you are no longer alive.

6. There is no better than here. When your there has become a here, you will simply acquire another there. That will again look better than here.

7. Others are simply mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects something you love or hate about yourself.

8. What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you make of them is up to you; the choice is yours.

9. Your answers lie inside you. The answers to life’s questions lie inside you. All you have to do is look, listen and trust.

10. You will forget all this. That fact is itself a lesson.

RULES ...10

RULES FOR BEING HUMAN....

You will receive a body.

You may like it or hate it,

but it's yours to keep

for the entire period.

You will learn lessons.

You are enrolled in a full-time,

informal school called life.

There are no mistakes, only lessons.

Growth is a process of trial, error

and experimentation.

The "failed" experiments are as much

a part of the process as the experiments

that ultimately "work".

Lessons are repeated until they are learned.

A lesson will be presented to you in various forms

until you have learned it.

When you have learned it,

you can go on to the next lesson.

Learning lessons does not end.

There is no part of life that doesn't

contain it's lessons.

If you're alive,

there are still lessons to be learned.

"There" is no better than "here".

When your "there" has become "here",

you will simply obtain another "there"

that will again look better than "here".

Other people are merely mirrors of you.

You can not love or hate something

about another person unless it reflects to you

something you love or hate about yourself.

What you make of your life is up to you.

You have all the tools and resources you need.

What you do with them is up to you.

The choice is yours.

CHAT WITH GOD

God: Hello. Did you call me?

Me: Called you? No. Who is this?

God: This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.

Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something.

God: What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

Me: Don't know. But I can't find free time. Life has become hectic. It's rush hour all the time.

God: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

Me: I understand. But I still can't figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

God: Well, I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium that you are comfortable with.

Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God: Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

Me: Why are we then constantly unhappy?

God: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analysing. Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not happy.

Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

God: Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty.

God: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

God: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.

Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

God: Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can't we be free from problems?

God: Problems are: Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons to Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems.

Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading.

God: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?

God: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

God: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me: What surprises you about people?

God: When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me?" Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.

Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I can't get the answer.

God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation.

Me: How can I get the best out of life?

God: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

God: There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Day with a new sense of inspiration.

God: Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live it.... If you don't like the answer, you shouldn't have asked the question...

LESSONS FROM THE BOOK " THE COURAGE TO BE DISLIKED "

Here are nine powerful lessons from the book:

The Courage To Be Disliked is a book that explores the philosophy of Alfred Adler, a 19th-century psychologist who challenged the dominant views of Freud and Jung. The book is written as a dialogue between a young man who is unhappy with his life and a philosopher who teaches him how to free himself from his past, his worries, and his expectations.

• Lesson 1: You are not determined by your past. Adler rejected the idea that our past experiences shape our personality and behavior. He argued that we are not passive victims of our past, but active creators of our present and future. We can choose how to interpret our past and how to respond to it. We can also change our attitude and actions at any moment, regardless of what happened before.

• Lesson 2: You are responsible for your own happiness. Adler believed that happiness is not something that is given to us by others or by fate, but something that we create for ourselves. Happiness is not a result of external circumstances, but a state of mind that we can achieve by living according to our own values and goals. Happiness is not a destination, but a journey.

Lesson 3: You can be free from the opinions of others. Adler taught that one of the main sources of unhappiness is the desire to be liked and accepted by others. He called this the “inferiority complex”, which makes us feel inadequate and insecure. He suggested that we can overcome this complex by developing the “courage to be disliked”, which means to live authentically and confidently, without seeking approval or validation from others.

• Lesson 4: You can be free from competition and comparison. Adler argued that another cause of unhappiness is the tendency to compete and compare ourselves with others. He called this the “superiority complex”, which makes us feel superior or inferior to others, depending on how we measure ourselves. He proposed that we can overcome this complex by adopting the “horizontal perspective”, which means to see ourselves and others as equals, without ranking or judging.

• Lesson 5: You can be free from anger and resentment. Adler explained that anger and resentment are emotions that we generate when we feel that someone has wronged us or violated our expectations. He claimed that these emotions are harmful and unproductive, because they only hurt ourselves and prevent us from moving forward. He advised that we can overcome these emotions by practicing “forgiveness”, which means to let go of our grudges and accept reality as it is.

• Lesson 6: You can be free from fear and anxiety. Adler pointed out that fear and anxiety are emotions that we generate when we anticipate negative outcomes or imagine worst-case scenarios. He asserted that these emotions are irrational and unnecessary, because they only paralyze us and stop us from taking action. He recommended that we can overcome these emotions by cultivating “optimism”, which means to expect the best and prepare for the worst.

Lesson 7: You can contribute to society and find meaning in life. Adler emphasized that one of the most important aspects of human life is the need to belong and cooperate with others. He called this the “community feeling”, which makes us feel connected and fulfilled. He suggested that we can develop this feeling by engaging in “contribution”, which means to use our talents and abilities to help others and make the world a better place.

• Lesson 8: You can respect yourself and others as individuals. Adler stressed that one of the most fundamental principles of human dignity is the respect for individuality. He called this the “separation of tasks”, which means to recognize that each person has their own responsibility and freedom to choose their own path in life. He advised that we can practice this principle by avoiding “interference”, which means to respect the boundaries and decisions of others, without imposing our own views or expectations.

• Lesson 9: You can change yourself and influence others positively. Adler affirmed that one of the most powerful abilities of human beings is the ability to change themselves and influence others positively. He called this the “self-revolution”, which means to transform ourselves from within, by changing our mindset and behavior. He also called this the “other-revolution”, which means to inspire others to change themselves, by being a positive example and offering encouragement.

These are some of the main lessons from The Courage To Be Disliked, a book that offers a refreshing and empowering perspective on how to live a happy and fulfilling life.

RAINBOW

 from  the  net...

I was talking with a friend a few days ago, who is pregnant with her first child. We were talking about parenting - how our parents raised us, what we would do differently with our children, what we would keep the same. She was a little apprehensive, a little anxious about being a parent, about being responsible for a child and his or her life. I remember saying to her, that regardless of how perfectly she may try to raise her child, the child will be screwed up anyway (yes, those were the exact words I used) simply by his or her own interpretation and association of everything that happens in his or her life.

Haven't we all - at some point in our lives - made conclusions and generalisations about something based on one incident alone, and believed that to be true for all cases? Besides, what makes perfect parenting anyway? I told her a story that I heard at one of Tony Robbins' events.

A story about two Vietnam war veterans who had lost their friends and fellow soldiers in the Vietnam war. Both fought in the same war, both witnessed the loss of their fellow countrymen, both experienced the gruesome act of taking someone else's life. And yet, after the war was over, both led very different lives. 30 years since the war ended, one was depressed, lonely and suicidal; the other happy and healthy, surrounded by a loving family and close friends.

So, what was the difference?

Based on his experience of the war in Vietnam, one man thought, "What is the point of being close to someone? I'll lose them anyway." So he lived his life in bitterness and resentment, fearful of being close to anyone to avoid having to feel the pain of losing them.

The other man, on the other hand, thought, "Life is precious. I have to live it to the fullest and cherish every moment of it." So he lived his life in gratitude, treasuring every moment he has with his loved ones. What a big difference that made.

As I am writing this, I am reminded of a talk given by Mr. Beadsworth, a mathematics teacher during my Cambridge A level days.

I am reminded of his famous ‘Rainbow Talk', in which he talks, literally, about rainbows. That talk was held in the auditorium of my old college some 11 years ago, but my most vivid memory of it was when he said, "You and your friend might think you are looking at the same rainbow, but you're not, you are looking at two different rainbows." There is a scientific explanation behind that, of course, but when I think about it now - frequency of light and spectrum aside - it is true that two people may be looking at the same rainbow, and still see them differently. Nothing has meaning except the meaning you give it. You are responsible for giving meaning to everything that has happened in your life. So, the question is, would you rather be like the first war veteran who lived his life with bitterness, resentment and fear? Or would you rather be like the second, who saw the lessons the war had taught him and created a more empowering meaning for it?

Either way, the good news is that, with awareness, you now have the choice of going back to any incident in your past that may be the source of your pain or suffering now, and create a new, more empowering meaning for it.

And if you are a parent, perhaps the greatest gift you can give to your child is that, and also the awareness that they too, can look at their rainbows and make them mean something beautiful and special.

SINGLE PIECE OF LIFE ADVICE

Which one single piece of life advice do you think could improve the life of a person the most?

  • From the last few months, our team is working with a client who is Multi-Millionaire in Pharmaceutical Field and we are helping their business to grow more.
  • One Day I visited his office to give training to his Senior Executive and I met his son who is about 8 Years senior to me but still, he is in Graduation 2nd Year.
  • We talk for a while then I came to know that he was in depression for 7–8 Years and then by the medical treatment he fought that depression and now he is totally fine.
  • He continued his education and now he is teaching small kids at 1500–2000 per month because he wants to earn his own money instead of asking money from his father.

I was amazed to see his dedication after a bad period of 7–8 Years where he was almost lost himself.

Here is some simple piece of advice that can improve our life.

  • Depression is Common. So no need to hide it. We all suffer from it at some point in our life but Instead of Hiding it. we should take Counselling to improve our life.
  • We all face challenges and we all fail at some point in our life but we should always try to get out of it positively.
  • How much we fail in life but we should always try to be independent.
  • Positivity is bigger then negativity. so we should try to take positive lessons from each other.

LESSONS FROM CROW

The Lessons

1. When the world mentally labeled that white is clean and pure, whereas black is dirty and dark, crows don’t care about these labels. They simply didn’t get identify with it. They accept the way they are and live the life by being themselves.
Lesson: Acceptance and detachment. When you accept yourself and detach from labels made by the mind, you get to connect with your true-self. And it is easier to be your true self without any mind label identification.
2. Have you seen any crow hidden behind the tree because she’s not as colorful as other birds? Have you seen any crow that feels so shy and hide her loud voice? Crows are one of the birds that appear in front of you with high self-esteem. One of the evidence is their appearance rather louder than silence. What are they telling us about self-esteem?
Lesson: Be loud and be bold about yourselves. Even if you feel that you are lack compare to others, even if you feel less pretty compare to others and many more of lack, accept it because it will help you increase your self-esteem.
Conclusion:
And always be proud of yourself! Expose your talents, your skills, your voice, your opinions, your knowledge about life from the world. Do it with kindness and love. What the world need right now is people who can fit the puzzle of life correctly by being themselves.Accept whoever you are because acceptance is beautiful life in making. Never hide yourself. Face the world with all the self-esteem you have. Throughout the time, it will increase and become stronger inside you.

Remember this; when the crows not trying to be others, it gives a sense of beauty in the world of birds. The world has colorful birds and also just one color bird; the black crow. This is not sacrifice. This is the acceptance of being. And YOU are unique. We are unique. Only by being yourself, you are helping others being theirs. All of it will fit the puzzle of life beautifully.

8 LESSONS PEOPLE LEARN TOO LATE IN LIFE

1. Important people come and go, and that's okay.

Unfortunately, the most important people in your life can become strangers overnight.

Fortunately, total strangers can become the most important people in your life overnight.

This process hurts, but if accepted, it serves to improve the quality and suitability of the people in your life

2. Your diet isn't just what you eat.

As you get older you realise that your diet isn't just what you eat, it's what you watch, what you read, who you follow and who you spend your time with.

So if your goal is to have a healthier mind, you have to start by removing all the junk from your diet.

3. You have to let people down to be happy.

You and your mental health are more important than your career, more money, other people's opinions, that event you said you would attend, your partner's mood and your family's wishes.

If taking care of yourself means letting someone down, then let someone down.

Your self-love must always be stronger than your desire to be loved by others.

4. Never let rejection lead to self-rejection.

A person who has experienced rejection fears rejection, and a person that fears rejection tends to push or run away before they can be rejected.

In their subconscious mind they have avoided rejection.

In reality, they've been rejected again - this time by themselves.

5. Own your responsibilities, own your future.

You're not responsible for your trauma but you are responsible for breaking the cycle and not hurting more people because of what happened to you.

You will never control your future if you let your present be controlled by your past.

What happened yesterday may not be your responsibility, but how you behave today is.

6. Quality over quantity.

Life is about quality, not quantity.

One quality friend gives you more than 100 acquaintances.

One quality relationship gives you more than 100 flings.

One quality experience gives you more than 100 drunken nights.

7. Fairytales will make you unhappy.

Obsessing over the things that society said you're "supposed to do" will kill your happiness.

Don't listen to the fake fairytales of how your life is supposed to be going.

You don't have to go to university at 18, or get a job at 21, or buy a house at 25, or get married at 30, or have kids at 35.

Everyone is different, and your path to happiness will be too.

8. Fun is yours.

If you want to enjoy your life, don't subscribe to other people's definition of "fun".

Fun doesn't have to mean drinking, partying and socialising.

Fun can be a night in alone, getting lost in a book, a deep conversation, a walk, creating art, playing music or doing work that you love.

Your fun belongs to you, make sure you define it.

LIFE LESSONS

1) Your entire life can change in a instant. So instead of passively taking what you have for granted, be grateful for it and do whatever good you can with it.

2) It's okay to feel lost sometimes; the truth is that you owe nothing to your younger self, but you owe everything to your present self.

3) Action breeds more clarity than thought, so you can't think your way into a new life, you have to act your way into one.

4) Chasing happiness will lead you to misery until you realize that happiness is the way.

5) If you want to change the trajectory of your life, embrace these rules and apply them: Commitment is what gets you started, consistency is what gets you somewhere, and persistence is what keep you going.

6) We breakdown little by little, day by day, but we also take care of ourselves, and build ourselves up, little by little, day by day.

Why? Because your habits define you, what you do today is a reflection of who you will become tommorrow.

7) Share your progress, not your goals, and you'll always be motivated.

8) Every second you spend comparing your life to someone else's is a second spent wasting yours; so stop comparing and create your own definition of success instead.

LIFE PROBLEMS

90% Of Life Problems Are Because You're Ignoring These Life Lessons

  1. Being alone is powerful; it makes you realize you need yourself more.
  2. The more you know yourself, the less you need others' approval.
  3. Until you become comfortable with being alone, you won't know if you're with someone out of love or loneliness.
  4. We generate fears while we sit; we overcome them by action.
  5. Don't look back; you're not going that way.
  6. Stand up and face your fears, or they will defeat you.
  7. If you want to make the wrong decision, ask everyone.
  8. Be careful how you talk to yourself because you are listening.
  9. The best way to keep one's word is not to give it.
  10. If people took back the pain they caused you, you'd lose the strength you gained.
  11. Life will test you just before it blesses you.
  12. In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.
  13. If you focus on the hurt, you will continue to suffer; if you focus on the lesson, you will continue to grow.
  14. The magic you are looking for is in the work you're avoiding.
  15. Focus on the step in front of you, not the whole staircase.
  16. Never expose your next step; just take the step.
  17. Action breeds more clarity than thought; you can't think your way into a new life—you have to act your way into one.
  18. The quickest way to succeed is to start now and figure it out as you go.
  19. If you find yourself repeatedly questioning whether or not something is right for you, the answer is usually No.
  20. A lack of boundaries invites a lack of respect
