People react negatively due to
-loss of security
-reduction in income
-reduction in responsibility
-reduction in authority
-dent in pride
-loss of contact with important people
-loss of freedom
-loss of good working conditions
-loss of status
-feels there is no need to change
-no need for change
-bring more harm then good
-loss of respect
-lack of consultation
-creates more burden
