EARTH's SECOND MOON

The Earth has a second, smaller, and less dense moon, called "Cruithne." It orbits the Earth in a path that takes it close to our planet and then far away again, making it look like a horseshoe shape in space. This moon is not technically a moon of Earth, but it does follow a complex orbit around our planet and is sometimes referred to as Earth's "second moon."
