Why are temples built on hills

Why are temples built on hills?

It wasn’t random. It was intentional.

Height meant silence — away from city noise

Climbing meant effort — a symbolic yatra of the soul

Hills meant energy — closer to the sky, the sun, and cosmic alignment

Elevation meant elevation — of thought, spirit, and purpose

In our tradition, faith wasn’t about convenience.

It was about rising — step by step.
