1. Desire: 

The metaphysical equivalent of gravity. A powerful electromagnetic output of your emotional being that draws you together with that which you imagine and idealize.

A useful affirmation to support your integration of this principle:

'My desire attaches to my thoughts to make them attractive to the elements necessary for making real my ideals.'

Another affirmation:

 'I am passionate about my ideals.'

2. Decision:

The choice to be in control of your own life, to create your own game plan, to opt out of the past into the present in order to create the future.

Affirmations:

'I choose to be a creator.'

'My choices give me the power to consciously create.

3. Discrimination: 

The ability to focus on a specific potentiality amongst the infinite possibilities in the field of pure potentiality (the great allowing ness).

Affirmations:

'My choices are clear to me.'

'I know what my choices are.'

4. Discernment: 



The selection of that which is true and best for you. The ability to see the win/win scenarios. The application of wisdom and insight.


Affirmations:

'I am capable of making the best choice.'

'I make the right choices for all concerned.'

5. Determination: 

When your actions mirror your belief and desire, every step is towards your destination; every thought and emotion is towards success.

Affirmations:

'I am constant in my faith in my ideal.'

'I am determined to reach my goals.'

6. Discipline: 

The constant expression of your will and personal power to become all you need to be, do all you need to do in order to have what you have idealized.

Affirmations:

'I act in harmony with what I hold as an ideal.'

'I am a disciple unto myself and my ideals.'

7. Dedication: 



The ability to totally commit to your journey and your destination. A persistence to do whatever is necessary until something is complete and manifest.

The willingness to move past commitment into compassion, empathy and unity. A true love of life and all its elements including your ideals and goals.

The ability to let go of the result, the destination, in order to live in the present moment. To be here, now.

10. Divinity:

A transcendent conscious awareness of who you are, where you are, why you are.

Affirmations:

'When I recognize and act out of my spiritual being, everything makes sense.'

'Everything is sacred. I am sacred. My ideals are sacred. My thoughts, emotions, words and deeds are sacred. My results are sacred.'

This fruit looks like a watermelon but tastes like a cucumber

Cucamelon

Exotic Mexican plant which tastes of cucumber and lime called cucamelon is launched in Britain for the first time

• Odd-looking fruit can be pickled, made into salsa or eaten on its own
• Seeds of cucamelon will be sold by a company in Devon

They are the size of grapes, look like miniature watermelons and taste of cucumbers and lime.

But the bizarre-looking 'cucamelon' is not some genetically-modified hybrid grown in a laboratory.

It's a central American delicacy that's been eaten in Mexico for centuries. 

A  spokesman said: 'It can be used in a variety of dishes including salads and salsa, or can be speared and placed in a martini glass which works quite well.'


The fruit, also known as a 'mouse melon' or 'Mexican sour gherkin', can be eaten on its own, pickled or used in salsa.
They can be cultivated in tubs, pots, or growbags and take around two to three months to mature.

The sour fruits grow on a thin vine and are surrounded by leaves that look similar to ivy and drop to the floor when ripe.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

What is Effective Communication??

Jack and Max are walking from religious service. Jack wonders whether it would be all right to smoke while praying.

Max replies, "Why don't you ask the Priest?"

So Jack goes up to the Priest and asks, "Priest, may I smoke while I pray?"

But the Priest says,"No, my son, you may not. That's utter disrespect to our religion."

Jack goes back to his friend and tells him what the good Priest told him.
Max says, "I'm not surprised. You asked the wrong question. Let me try."
And so Max goes up to the Priest and asks, "Priest, may I pray while I smoke?"

To which the Priest eagerly replies, "By all means, my son. By all means."

Moral: The reply you get depends on the question you ask.

For Example : Can I work on this project while I'm on vacation ?!?

Communication, if used right, can be very powerful!

Reminds me of a joke, but then, the message is powerful...

In England, John has been summoned to court for having greeted his neighbor, Mrs. Robinson, with "Good Morning, pig!"

The judge pronounces a fine of ten pounds for insulting her.

John pays up and then asks the judge if there is any fine for calling a pig by name. The judge says, "Of course not!".

John turns to Mrs. Robinson and wishes her: "Good Morning, Mrs. Robinson!"

Amazing things start happening when we start praying! - Anon

The beauty of prayer lies in its simplicity; young and old, rich or poor, children or adults can all use this medium in various ways to meet their needs. To begin with they can use prayer to reach out for help when needed, offer prayers of thanks for blessing got and can even seek company in prayer when lonely. In fact most prayers are those that people say seeking help desperately. The first reason for that is because our wants are always unlimited but the means are limited. We want more money, more riches, more fame and more material possessions. The second reason is we turn to prayer is when we have exhausted all other means particularly when we face a crisis situation. This could be illness, when seeking a job or admission, when we have lost a valuable, when we are in some sort of extreme personal crisis like a divorce etc.

The power of prayer also lies in its simplicity. It has no predetermined format or style although in many religions they have standardized the prayers to make it more people friendly. Real prayer though is communication with the almighty and this has no fixed outline or specifications. It simply revolves round sharing our inner most feelings, talking as one would to another and the toughest part is to be able to listen attentively. All payers are powerful because they are heard and acted upon but the most powerful prayers are those that come from the depth of our hearts. Far too often we mistakenly believe that our prayer are answered only when we get what we want. There is a prayer answered when we don’t get what we want but that is difficult to appreciate because man is short sighted and selfish by nature. Gods plasn are mysterious and denial of our requests could be with very good reason.

The fruits of prayer also lie in its simplicity. The peace that comes to us when we pray is the most cherished fruit of them all. This is because most prayers are offered when in trouble and the prayer offered give us comfort that we have sought the support of the almighty. Many times prayers are answered in the most unexpected ways be it winning a lottery or landing a great job when we least expect it. Prayer often tranquilizes the soul, calms our spirit and rejuvenates our physique. Our worries and woes suddenly vanish from our midst, our needs seem satisfied and our greed transforms into satisfaction. If we offer our prayers sincerely, you will realize that Prayers have the power to turn the impossible into the miraculous.

Remember: “All prayers are answered if we are willing to admit that sometimes the answer is “no”

Try this:

1. The next time you pray, be aware of how much you are actually seeking and how little we actually appreciate, thank or accept in good grace the answer to our prayers.
2. Ask yourself how effective our prayers are if we carry grudges, if we have evil thoughts about others, if we cannot forgive our brother/ sister/ neighbor etc or if we refuse to accept another’s apology but still seek revenge. 

God came and asked me for a wish, I told GOD “Let all my friends be healthy and happy forever!"

GOD said: But for 4 days only!

I said: Yes, let them be a Spring Day, Summer Day, Autumn Day, and Winter Day.

GOD said: 3 days...

I said: Yes, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.

GOD said: No, 2 days!

I said: Yes, a Bright Day (Daytime) and Dark Day (Night-time) .

GOD said: No, just 1 day!

I said: Yes!

GOD asked: Which day?

I said: Every Day in the living years of all my friends!

GOD laughed, and said: You INDIANS know how to negotiate. But since you are praying and asking happiness for your friends, I can't refuse. I love everyone who thinks of others first, so don't you worry.
