( துளசியக்காவைப் பத்தி நெற....ய்ய்ய்ய இருக்கு.. அது அப்புறம் )..பொதுவா கன்னடக்காரங்கதான் துளசி வச்சு வழிபடுவாங்க..எங்க வீட்டுலேயும் ரொம்ப முக்கியமான வழிபாட்டு இடமா துளசி மேடை இருந்துச்சி..எங்க வீட்டுல சாமி கும்பிடற முறை எப்படின்னா - முதல்ல துளசி செடிக்கு மூணு முறை கீழே விழுந்து வணங்கிட்டு அப்புறம் திண்ணையில அலமாரிக்கு மேல அப்பாவோட குரு (கிரியா யோகா மாஸ்டர் லஹிரி மகாசாயி) படத்தை கும்புட்டுட்டு பக்கத்துல பூண்டி மாதா படத்துக்கு ஒரு சரணம் பண்ணிட்டு சாமி ரூமுக்குள்ள நுழையணும்..( சாமி ரூம் பத்தி தனி post பின்னாடி வரும் ). அப்பா கொல்லையில ஒரு நெல்லி செடி வச்சு அதுக்கு கீழ ஒரு துளசி செடி நட்டாங்க..அதுக்கப்புறம் அங்கேயும் போய் ஒரு சரணம்ன்னு வழக்கமாயிடுச்சு..அப்பா குடம்குடமா நெல்லிமரத்துக்கும், துளசி செடிக்கும் தண்ணி ஊத்துவாங்க...நெல்லிமரம் ரொம்ப பெருசா வளந்துடுச்சு.. நெறயக் காய்க்கும் ஒரு தடவ துளசி செடி நாலு அடி உயரத்துக்கு மேல போட்டோவுல தெரியுற மதிலைத் தாண்டி பிரமாண்டமா வளந்துச்சு...

தீபாவளிக்கு அப்புறம் எங்க வீட்ல வருசா வருஷம் ஒரு கல்யாணம் நடக்கும்... அதான் ." துளசி கல்யாணம் " –
ஒரு நெல்லிகிளையை ( விஷ்ணுக்கு பதிலாக ) துளசி செடியுல வச்சு , கோலம் போட்டு, நூக்குற பஞ்சுல மாலை செஞ்சு அலங்காரம் பண்ணி துளசி செடிக்கு தாலி கட்டுவாங்க..அன்னிக்கு வட பாயச விருந்து, பட்சணமெல்லாம் உண்டு..
ஸ்ரீராம் பொறக்குறத்துக்கு முன்ன திருச்சியிலேயும் அம்மா BHEL குவார்டர்ஸ்ல ஒரு தடவ துளசி கல்யாணம் பண்ணி அமர்க்களப் படுத்துனாங்க. இது நடந்ததுக்கப்புறம் என் பிரெண்டோட அப்பா அந்த துளசி செடியை டெய்லி கும்புட்டு போவாரு!
இப்ப இருக்குற வீட்ல துளசி செடிகள் காடு போல மண்டி கிடந்தாலும் மனசெல்லாம் மாயரத்துல இருக்கு!

ReplyDeleteதாத்தா தினைக்கும் காலம்பர துளசி செடிக்கு முன்னாடி சூர்ய நமஸ்காரம்பண்ணுவாங்க. இந்த போட்டோ எடுத்த நாள் பளிச்-ன்னு ஞாபகம் வருது. பஞ்சு மாலை design கண்ணுலயே நிக்குது :)
I don't know I am dreaming this: I think I vaguely remember when this துளசி மாடம் was built :) This துளசி மாடம் had 2 holes on either side for the excess water to seep out. When it was built the கொத்தனார் put a stick across the bottom and built the stones around it. Then took the stick out. If it is not this துளசி மாடம், then I don't know which one???
JP, before you leave BHEL quarters, request you to conduct துளசி கல்யாணம், i'll come, even if there is no வட பாயச விருந்து, பட்சணம்
ReplyDeletecountless times i got scolded by thatha for climbing thulasi maadam onto the wall behind it and jumping over .. every time rescued by appayee ! and the nellikai maram...lots of memories with it too... i felt really sad when it was taken down :(
ReplyDelete@Sundu, i think this is the thulasi madam.. i remember it had 2 holes on either side! and the panju maalai...white and red design - looked pretty cool!
My Kanadiga friend's family used to do Thulasi kalyanam every year. They don't have Nellikai maram in their place, so he used to come to our home and cut a branch. One of the requirement in that, is the branch should contain atleast one nellikai. When we were in college this function came and he came to our house to cut a branch but few days earlier my mum asked our gardener to pluck off all nellikais off so the maram was devoid of any fruits. We were discussing methods like sticking one to the branch finally we found one at the top.After much difficulty my friend climbed to the top and took off the branch safely with the fruit. We saved the marriage that year :)
