YOGA MUDRAS

Performing mudras are said to stimulate the flow of prana (life force or energy) throughout the body, to quieten the mind by focusing it on the simple touch of our hands or fingers and to intensify the power of our practice.

Mudras work to connect the brain and the body, relieve discomfort, release endorphins, alter mood, and boost energy. Numerous Buddhist and Hindu rites have included mudras in some capacity. They are often employed in dancing, meditation, and yoga. According to several academics, there are close to 399 different mudras.
