Difference between Karna and Vibhishana
Both Vibhishana and Karna faced similar dilemma in Ramayana and Mahabharata in making a choice between Dharma and Loyalty.
Vibhishana choose Dharma over supporting his brother Ravana. Where as, Karna decided to stay with his friend Duryodhana out of his loyalty and he knew the outcome of the Kurukshetra war. Karna is more like Kumbhakarna, who chose to fight for his brother Ravana even though he was unimpressed with his actions.
Looking in isolation, Karna's step may seem right, but when looked at it in a larger perspective, the choice of Karna was wrong as nothing can win against Dharma.
