ஏழாம் சுவை - நகைச்சுவை 

              - அறு(சு)வையானந்தா 

இன்றைய அவசர உலகின் டென்ஷன்களைக் குறைப்பதற்காக நம் வாசகர்கள் 'அருட்குரலில்' சிரித்து மகிழ ஒரு பக்கம் ஒதுக்குங்கள் என கேட்கின்றார்கள். இவர்களின் விருப்பங்களை பூர்த்தி செய்வதற்காக நாங்கள் ஸ்ரீஸ்ரீ...ஸ்ரீ சுவாமி அறு(சு)வையானந்தாஜி அவர்களை அணுகினோம்.

நகைச்சுவையில் நவரசங்களை கலந்து ஏழாம் சுவையாய் வழங்கும் சுவாமிஜி அவர்கள் நம் 'அருட்குரலில்' மாதாமாதம் அருட்சிரிப்புகளை அள்ளி வழங்குவதாக சொல்லியிருக்கின்றார்கள்.

இந்த மாதம் அவர் அருளிய முன்னுரை -

இனிய வாசக பெருமக்களே !  வாழ்க வளமுடன்!

உலகத்திலேயே ரொம்ப  அழகானது எது தெரியுமா? மலர்ந்த முகங்களை, புன்னகை பூத்த முகங்களைப் பார்ப்பதுதான்..அதைவிட அழகானது அந்த புன்னகைகளுக்கு காரணமாக நீங்கள் விளங்குவதுதான்..!

'தொண்டாற்றி இன்பம் காண்போம்' என்று முடிகின்றது நம் இறைவணக்க பாடல்.

ஒருத்தனை சிரிக்க வச்சுட்டா அதுவும்  ஒரு தொண்டுதான்!

 - அதாவது  சிரிக்கத் தெரியாதவனுக்கு பகலும் இருளாகவே இருக்கும் என்கிறார்.

சிவபெருமானின் குமிண் நகை காணப்பெறுவதாக இருந்தால் மனிதப் பிறவியும் வேண்டுவதே இந்த மாநிலத்தே என்கின்றார்.

1958ல்  நடந்த எங்கள்  வீட்டுத் திருமணங்களின்போது தந்தை பெரியார் அவர்கள் எனது தந்தைக்கு அனுப்பிய வாழ்த்து அட்டை கீழே -

10-7-1958 அன்று எனது பெரியண்ணன், பெரியக்கா இவர்களுக்கு வைதீக முறைப்படி திருமணமும், எனது சித்தப்பா இருவருக்கு சுயமரியாதை திருமணமும் ( ஈ.வி.கே.சம்பத் தலைமையில் ) மொத்தம் நான்கு திருமணங்களை எனது தந்தையார் 59 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் நடத்தினார்கள்.

அந்த காலத்தில் நடந்த புதுமை!

Practical Management Lessons

During a Robbery in Hong Kong, the Bank Robber shouted to everyone in the bank:
"Don't move. The Money belongs to the Government. Your Life belongs to You."

Everyone in the Bank laid down quietly.

This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the Conventional Way of Thinking.

When a Lady lay on the Table provocatively, the Robber shouted at her:
"Please be Civilised! This is a Robbery and not a Rape!"

This is called "Being Professional” . Focus only on What You are Trained to do!

When the Bank Robbers returned Home, the Younger Robber (MBA Trained) told the older Robber (who has only completed Year 6 in Primary School):
"Big Brother, let's count how much we got."

The older Robber rebutted and said:
"You are very Stupid. There is so much Money it will take us a long time to count. Tonight, the TV News will tell us how much we Robbed from the Bank!"

This is called "Experience”
Nowadays, experience is more Important than Paper Qualifications!

After the Robbers had left, the Bank Manager told the Bank supervisor to call the Police quickly. But the Supervisor said to him:
"Wait! Let us take out $10 Million from the Bank for ourselves and add it to the $70 Million that we have previously Embezzled from the Bank”.

This is called "Swim with the Tide”
Converting an unfavorable situation to Your Advantage!

The Supervisor says: "It will be Good if there is a Robbery every month."

This is called "Changing Priority”
Personal Happiness is more Important than Your Job”.

The next day, the TV News reported that $100 Million was taken from the Bank. The Robbers Counted and Counted and Counted, but they could only Count $20 Million.

The Robbers were very Angry and Complained:
"We risked our Lives and only took $20 Million. The Bank Manager took $80 Million with a snap of his fingers. It looks like it is better to be Educated than to be a Thief!"

This is called "Knowledge is worth as much as Gold!"

 நல்லாற்றுப் படும் நெறி

 ஒரு மரத்தில் அணில் ஒன்று தாவி விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் போது தவறி கீழே நின்ற ஒநாயின் மீது விழுந்தது. ஓநாய்  அதைத் தன் வாயில் கவ்வி சாப்பிட முயற்சிக்கும்போது, தன்னை விட்டு விடுமாறு அணில் கேட்டது. அப்போது ஓநாய் ,''நான் கேட்கும் கேள்விக்கு சரியான பதிலை சொன்னால் உன்னை விட்டு விடுகிறேன்,''என்றது.

அணிலும்,''உன் பிடியில் நான் இருந்தால் எப்படி பதில் சொல்ல முடியும்?''என்று கேட்கவே ஓநாயும்  பிடியைத் தளர்த்தியது.உடனே மரத்தில் தாவி ஏறிய அணில், 

''இப்போது உன் கேள்வியைக் கேள்,''என்றது. 

ஓநாய் கேட்டது,''உன்னை விட நான் பலசாலி. ஆனால் என்னைவிட மகிழ்ச்சியாக மரத்தில் எப்போதும் ஓடியாடி விளையாடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாயே! இது எப்படி சாத்தியம்?''

அணில் சொன்னது,''நீ எப்போதும் கொடிய செயல்களையே செய்கிறாய். அதுவே உன் மனதை உறுத்திக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறது அதனால் உன்னால் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்க முடியவில்லை. ஆனால் நான்  எப்போதும் யாருக்கும் எந்தத் தீங்கும் விளைவிப்பதில்லை. மரங்களில் தானாகப் பழுத்த பழங்களை  மட்டுமே சாப்பிடுகிறேன். அதனால் என் மனதில் எப்போதும் கவலையில்லை.'' என்றது.

     இந்தக் கதையில் அணில் ஓநாயிடம்,  "உதவி செய்யவில்லை என்றாலும் பரவாயில்லை; உபத்திரவம் பண்ணாதே' என்று சொல்கிறது. இதே அறிவுரையை யாராவது உங்களிடம் சொல்லியிருப்பார்கள், இல்லாவிட்டால் நீங்களாவது யாரிடமாவது கூறியிருப்பீர்கள். இந்த சிந்தனை இன்று நேற்று தோன்றியதல்ல. சங்ககாலத்திலேயே இப்படியொரு பாடல் உண்டு.

எல்லாரும் உவப்பது அன்றியும்

நீங்கள் நல்ல செயலைச் செய்யமாட்டீர் என்றாலும், கெட்ட செயல்கள் செய்வதையாவது விட்டொழியுங்கள்! இதைத்தான் எல்லோரும் விரும்புவார்கள்.. நல்ல நெறி என்று சொல்லப்படுவதும் இதுதான்...

நரிவெரூஉத் தலையார்

பிணம் தின்னும் நரியே கண்டால் வெருவி(அஞ்சி) ஓடும் வண்ணம் இப் புலவரின் தலை இருந்ததாம். சேரமான் கருவூர் ஏறிய ஒள்வாள் கோப் பெருஞ்சேரல் என்னும் அரசனைக் கண்டவுடன் இந்த வெறுக்கத்தக்க தலையின் தோற்றம் மாறிவிடும் என்று அவருக்குக் கூறியிருந்தனராம். அவ்வாறே இந்தப் புலவர் அந்தச் சேர அரசனைக் கண்டவுடன் வெறுக்கத் தக்க அவரது தலைத்தோற்றம் மாறி நல்லுடம்பு வரப்பெற்றாராம். இவ்வாறு புறநானூறு ஐந்தாம் பாடலுக்கு   குறிப்பு தெரிவிக்கிறது.

Happy Rules to Life 

ONE.  Give   people more than they expect and do it   cheerfully.   

TWO.   Marry  a man/woman  you love to talk to. As you get  older,  their conversational skills will be as   important as any other.  

THREE.  Don't   believe all you hear, spend all you have  or  sleep all you want.  

FOUR.   When  you say, 'I love  you,' mean   it.  

FIVE.   When  you say, 'I'm  sorry,' look the person in the  eye.  

SIX.  Be   engaged at least six months before you get   married.

  

SEVEN.  Believe   in love at first   sight.   

EIGHT.  Never   laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't  have  dreams don't have much.   

NINE...   Love  deeply and  passionately. You might get hurt but  it's  the only way to live life completely.   

TEN..   In  disagreements,  fight fairly. No name calling.   

ELEVEN.   Don't   judge people by their   relatives.   

TWELVE.   Talk  slowly but think   quickly.   

THIRTEEN.  When  someone asks  you a question you don't want to  answer,  smile and ask, 'Why do you want to  know?'  

FOURTEEN.   Remember  that great  love and great achievements involve  great  risk. 

FIFTEEN.   Say  'bless you' when  you hear someone sneeze.   

SIXTEEN.   When  you lose, don't  lose the   lesson.   

SEVENTEEN.   Remember  the three  R's: Respect for self; Respect for  others;  and Responsibility for all your actions.   

EIGHTEEN.   Don't  let a little  dispute injure a great friendship.   

NINETEEN.   When  you realize you've  made a mistake, take  immediate steps to  correct   it.   

TWENTY.  Smile when picking up the phone.  The  caller will hear it in your  voice   

TWENTY-   ONE. Spend  some time  alone. 

TIME - 7

Time Will Come 

New York is 3 hrs ahead of California but it does not mean that California is slow, or that New York is fast. Both are  working based on their own "Time Zone."

Some one is still single. Someone got married and 'waited' 10 yrs before having a child, there is another who had a baby within a year of marriage.

Someone graduated at the age of 22, yet waited 5 years before securing a good job; and there is another who graduated at 27 and secured employment immediately !

Someone became CEO at 25 and died at 50 while another became a CEO at 50 and lived to 90 years.

Everyone works based on their 'Time Zone',

People can have things worked out only according to their pace.
Work in your "time zone".

Your Colleagues, friends, younger ones might "seem" to go ahead of you.
May be some might "seem" behind you.

Don't envy them or mock them, it's their 'Time Zone.'
You are in yours!
