BUILD SELF RESPECT

 


  1. Make the commitment to practice self-respect.
  2. Establish boundaries, enforce and maintain them.
  3. Build relationships with people who treat you with goodness.
  4. Consider your own feelings and needs when making decisions.
  5. Honor your values and beliefs.
  6. Ask yourself, what do I want? And give yourself what you want.
  7. Refrain from gossiping about others.
  8. Move away from attacking someones character and instead address the issue.
  9. Use compassionate self talk, “i am worthy of love and respect”.
  10. Expect a higher standard of treatment from yourself and others.
  11. Keep promises to yourself.
  12. Recognise the value of your time and energy.
  13. Learn to say no
  14. Forgive yourself for past mistakes.
