The name of this object is UGC 10214, but it's known as the 'Tadpole Galaxy'. This image was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in March 2002. The galaxy is located 420 million light-years from Earth in the direction of the constellation Draco.
Its distorted shape was caused by a small intruder, a blue galaxy, visible in the upper left corner. The strong gravitational forces resulting from the interaction between the objects have created the long tail, made up of stars and gas, which extends for over 280,000 light-years! All of this against a backdrop of more than 6000 galaxies.
