IMPROVE THE ABILITY TO OBSERVE THE WORLD

  • Meditation - The whole point to meditating is to silence the thoughts, increasing your awareness in the outside world.
  • Take A New Perspective - Example: You do realize you are staring at a screen, right? What’s inside this screen does not exist. It’s just a picture. You can’t even touch it. And yet, there’s an entire universe inside that screen.
  • Ask The Tough Question: “Why?” - Why does this person act that way? Why do they move that way? Why do you think that about them? Why do you believe you are the same? Why are they different?
  • Focus On One Sense - Listen to everything that is going on, let your eyes wonder over everything it can see, and feel everything around you without focusing on a single thing. Focus on what your senses observe without letting them get you stuck on anything in particular.
  • Play The Observer - Notice your thoughts. Notice you noticing your thoughts. You can observe that you are noticing the noticing of your thoughts, but who is it that is observing that? And who is observing that?
  • Go Blank - Simply let your mind wander where it might. Don’t try to hold it anywhere but let it move on as fast as you can from one thought to the next. Take a deep breath to refocus yourself on nothing should you have found something.
  • Notice Everything Is Okay - In this very moment everything is okay. Notice that. Feel that. And then look around at the world in this instance in time. You will hold a different perspective.
