BLOOD CANCER

The lymph system, bone marrow, and blood are potential targets of hematopoietic cancers, various names for the same group of illnesses. It occurs when cells in various regions of the body begin developing in a strange manner, making it challenging for the blood to function properly.

Symptoms of Blood Cancer:

  • Fatigue: Persistent tiredness and weakness due to a low red blood cell count.
  • Unexplained Weight Loss: Sudden and unintentional weight loss
  • Frequent Infections: Weakened immune system, leading to recurrent infections
  • Easy Bruising and Bleeding: Low platelet count causes bruising and bleeding.
  • Swollen Lymph Nodes: Enlarged lymph nodes are often painless.
  • Bone Pain: Aches and discomfort in bones.
  • Fever and Night Sweats: Unexplained fevers and drenching night sweats
  • Shortness of Breath: Breathlessness due to anemia
  • Abdominal Discomfort: Enlarged spleen or liver causing discomfort.
