LaoTzu has said something significant.
“When the student is ready, the teacher appears.
When the student is truly ready, the teacher disappears.”
You cannot be a disciple or you can miss the moment with a master if you're not ready. You become the disciple when you allow the master to enter inside you. A relation of a student and a master is more like lover.
The guru is ready to give you, but can you take?
You have to be in immense love with the master then only the soil can be prepared for seed.
