THE LUNGS

The act of breathing is essential for exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide in our bodies.

Oxygen is crucial for energy production, while carbon dioxide is a waste product.

It's a fundamental process necessary for sustaining life.

Breathing is a complex physiological mechanism controlled by the respiratory system.

The inhalation brings fresh oxygen into the lungs, where it diffuses into the bloodstream and is transported to cells.

Carbon dioxide, a byproduct of cellular metabolism, is carried back to the lungs and expelled during exhalation.

This continuous exchange supports cellular functions and maintains the body's internal balance.
