Scientists have discovered a rare planet named TOI-733b, twice the size of Earth, covered by oceans! It was found 245 light-years away by NASA's TESS telescope, orbiting a star similar to our Sun in just 4.9 days. TOI-733b's size falls within a unique range, bridging the gap between super-Earths and mini-Neptunes, and its dense atmosphere suggests it may be entirely covered in water.
