SLEEP CYCLE

Everybody sleeps in four cycles, which is a healthy sleeping pattern. Many don't finish all four cycles, which leaves them exhausted and irritable or puffy even after hours of sleep.

The fourth stage is the “REM” stage when we dream. Our surroundings have an impact on our bodies' ability to feel safe, calm, and relaxed to be able to complete all three cycle of sleep and we go into a fourth REM stage when we see dreams. For this reason, many find it difficult to fall asleep in unfamiliar beds, places, locations, stress, alcohol consumption or temperatures when they are in a new environment or substances abuse because of the way the body (nervous system) is wired to feel comfortable to environment to be able to sleep in relaxation.

There is no backing in science that people get dreams in cold temperatures. I have thyroid and I am intolerant to cold and cannot sleep in cold temperatures. Similarly, Your nervous system is conditioned to feel comfortable in cold temperature (air conditioning), where you may totally relax and see dreams in these conditions by completing all four cycles of the sleep pattern. It has zero connection with spiritual realms or spiritual truths and more to do with biology and circadian rhythms.
