BETAL LEAVES

 According to the ancient knowledge of Ayurveda, betel leaves (AKA tambul, paan) have some good properties regarding digestive issues. In India betel leaves are used as a after meal products. Chewing betel leaves have some benefits, such as-

  • Betel leaves provides good amounts of magnesium, calcium, potassium and little amounts of other micronutrients to the body. These molecules are used by the enzyme system in our body. Hence good for digestion.
  • Betel leaves are good source of folic acid and thiamin. These two vitamins have a wide role in our daily diet.
  • Betel leaves reduces the acid refluxes in stomach and provides ample amount of fiber for soft stool formation.
  • Chewing betel leaves reduces the foul smell if someone have issues of pyuria.
