LESSONS FROM THE BOOK " THE OVERTHINKING CURE "

 7 Lessons from The Overthinking Cure

1.If you are obsessed with worrying about a problem that cannot be solved, then it is up to you to turn the brain machine off, or redirect it.

2.Forgiveness is not something you do for others, but for yourself.

3.Think about what is stressing you in your environment and how you can take control to moderate or remove it entirely.

4.Acceptance doesn't mean we agree with what happened or that we like it and shouldn't try to change it. It only means we gracefully come to terms with what we can't realistically change so we can focus on what we can.

5.The thought doesn't matter. What you do with the thought matters.

6.A - Accept your internal experience in the present moment. C - Choose a valued direction T- Take action in that direction.

7.It is simply acknowledging that what is happening is, in fact, happening. We don't resist it or argue with it or pretend it doesn't exist.
